Delaware Fishing Report- May 2019

Delaware Fishing Report- May 2019

Freshwater

Delaware's ponds and rivers have sprung to life with all kinds of fish biting now.
A good friend had an excellent day catching bass and crappie in Kent County and
another caught several nice rainbow trout in White Clay, where trout continue to bite.
This angler has been enjoying some night fishing for catfish at the rivers that empty
into the Delaware and Chesapeake bays.  Big globs of nightcrawlers and bloodworms
always do the trick.   Tips like this and some top secret fishing holes are found in the
critically acclaimed ebook Big Bass in the Small Wonder

Saltwater

Surf fishing has been good for bluefish, with many hauling in 5-10 lbers off the beaches
of Cape Henlopen and Delaware state seashore.   As well, in the back bays of Rehoboth
and Indian River, anglers are connecting with flounder, spot, croaker and other fishing
favorites.   More updates to come next month.
