Happy New Year Delaware Sport Fishing Fans,

Things have been quite stagnant for fishing in Delaware with the polar vortex temperatures that have gripped much of the East Coast. 

I have gotten out fishing four times since winter has fallen.   I hooked a carp at the spillway but it got off.  Other than that, I have caught zero fish.   I have used a variety of baits, lures, rods in local creeks and rivers hoping to connect with some yellow perch or a big catfish --nothing!

Right now it is 4F temperature outside.  I'm not fishing.  However, I have organized my fishing gear and thought it would be nice to drop a line to all my Delaware Sport Fishing Blog friends.  I hope to see you out there when the weather warms up.   I am very much looking forward to fishing one of the downstate ponds that they stock with trout in early March.
